We are in the outskirts of Bellinzona, not in the city, nor in the countryside. We are settled on the middle ground, with either cheap residential apartment units or private houses with no quality.
Green areas are leftovers, common or community spaces nonexistent.

Our reaction was to design this small multi-generational neighborhood starting from its common space. A common garden, a place of social interaction. This garden is related to the different areas through pedestrian pathways or green terraces. These built a new topography taking advantage of the existing slopes.

First phase, almost finished, implied 24 apartments that ranges from studios to family apartments.Lumino 2018 – 2020
